Problem

A school campus is imagined to be placed on a coordinate grid where the origin represents the main gate. Using this reference, answer the following: (a) The library is 44 units to the right of the yy-axis and 22 units below the xx-axis. Write its coordinates. (b) The sports ground entrance is 33 units to the left of the yy-axis and lies exactly on the xx-axis. Find its coordinates. (c) A notice board is fixed 66 units above the xx-axis and is in the same vertical line as the library. Determine its coordinates. (d) State the quadrants (or axis) in which each of the three locations obtained in parts (a), (b) and (c) lie.
