Problem

A coil with 50 turns and resistance 6.0 Ω encloses a rectangular area of 4.0 × 10⁻³ m². The coil rotates at a constant angular speed of 120 rad·s⁻¹ about an axis perpendicular to a uniform magnetic field of 0.15 T. At t = 0 the plane of the coil is perpendicular to the field. Calculate the total electrical energy dissipated in the coil during the first 0.020 s of rotation.
