Problem

Consider the linear polynomial P(x)=3−2xP(x)=3-2x. (i) Rewrite P(x)P(x) in the form ax+bax+b and state the values of aa and bb. (ii) Find the zero of P(x)P(x). (iii) Determine the coordinates of the xx–intercept and yy–intercept of the graph y=P(x)y=P(x). (iv) Draw a neat sketch of the graph using the two intercepts obtained in part (iii) and clearly mark both intercepts on your diagram.
