Problem

The vector P⃗=−8 i^+6 j^+10 k^\vec{P}= -8\,\hat{i} + 6\,\hat{j} + 10\,\hat{k} represents the position of a point in metres with respect to the origin. (i) Calculate the magnitude of P⃗\vec{P}. (ii) Determine the angles that P⃗\vec{P} makes with the positive xx, yy, and zz axes, giving each angle to the nearest degree. (iii) Show that the squares of the cosines of these angles add up to unity.
