Problem

A coloured compound (A) reacts with dilute H2SO4\text{H}_2\text{SO}_4 to produce a colourless gas (B) and colourless solution (C). The reaction between (B) and the acidified K2Cr2O7\text{K}_2\text{Cr}_2\text{O}_7 solution produces a green solution and a slightly yellowish precipitate (D). The substance (D) burns in air to produce a gas (E) which also can change the colour of K2Cr2O7\text{K}_2\text{Cr}_2\text{O}_7 solution. When DD is boiled with alkaline sulphite solution a compound FF is formed. FF can be used in (1) I and IV (2) I, III and IV (3) II and III (4) I, II, III and IV
