Let p(x)=2x4−3x3−11x2+12x+36p(x)=2x^{4}-3x^{3}-11x^{2}+12x+36. Three linear expressions are proposed as possible factors of p(x)p(x): (x+2)(x+2), (x−3)(x-3) and (x−4)(x-4). (i) Find the values p(−2)p(-2), p(3)p(3) and p(4)p(4). (ii) From your results, identify which of the given linear expressions, if any, are factors of p(x)p(x). (iii) For every factor you have identified, write the corresponding zero of the polynomial.
