Problem

A generator coil has 200200 turns, each of area 0.040 m20.040\,\text{m}^2. It starts from rest and rotates in a uniform magnetic field of 0.30 T0.30\,\text{T} with a constant angular acceleration of 100 rad s−2100\,\text{rad\,s}^{-2}. The plane of the coil is perpendicular to the field at t=0t=0. (a) Obtain an expression for the instantaneous emf ϵ(t)\epsilon(t) as a function of time tt. (Keep your answer in terms of the given symbols.) (b) Calculate the emf produced at t=0.050 st = 0.050\,\text{s}. (Give your answer to two significant figures.)
