Problem

A proton is placed on the surface of a positively charged sphere of charge 2.0 nC2.0 \text{ nC} and radius 0.25 m0.25 \text{ m} . The proton is released. What is the speed of the proton when it gets very far away from the sphere? Draw a graph to show the variation with distance travelled, of the proton speed. (No numbers required, just the shape.)
