Problem

Let the vectors be p=⟨t,2t,3⟩\displaystyle \mathbf{p}=\langle t,2t,3\rangle, q=⟨1,−t,6⟩\mathbf{q}=\langle 1,-t,6\rangle and r=⟨2,t2,0⟩\mathbf{r}=\langle 2,t^{2},0\rangle, where tt is a real parameter. (i) Determine all value(s) of tt for which p\mathbf{p} is perpendicular to q\mathbf{q}. (ii) For the value(s) of tt obtained in part (i), examine whether q\mathbf{q} is perpendicular to r\mathbf{r} and justify your conclusion. (iii) Find all real value(s) of tt for which the three vectors p,  q\mathbf{p},\;\mathbf{q} and r\mathbf{r} are pairwise perpendicular.
