Problem

Two identical small spheres, each of mass 2.0 kg2.0\,\text{kg}, are separated by 0.40 m0.40\,\text{m}. If the separation is increased to 0.80 m0.80\,\text{m} while the masses remain unchanged, by what factor does the magnitude of the gravitational force change? Give your answer as the ratio of the new force to the original force.
