Problem

A cricket ball of mass 0.15 kg0.15\,\text{kg} is bowled at 30 m/s30\,\text{m/s}. A tennis ball of mass 0.05 kg0.05\,\text{kg} is served with a speed such that it has exactly the same kinetic energy as the cricket ball. (i) Find the speed of the tennis ball. (ii) State, with reasons, which of the two balls will travel farther in air if both experience the same opposing air resistance for equal distances just after being struck. (Assume no spin and neglect projectile motion details.)
