Problem

Let r(x)=x3+kx2+5x+mr(x)=x^{3}+kx^{2}+5x+m be a cubic polynomial. (i) Given that x=1x=1 is a zero of r(x)r(x) and that the remainder obtained when r(x)r(x) is divided by (x+2)(x+2) is 77, write two independent equations connecting kk and mm. (ii) Solve these equations to determine the values of kk and mm. (iii) With the obtained values of kk and mm, express r(x)r(x) in its completely factorised form.
