Problem

Three identical straight conductors P, Q and R, each 0.25 m0.25\,\text{m} long, are placed separately in the same uniform magnetic field of 0.50 T0.50\,\text{T}. Their currents and orientations are: P: 4.0 A4.0\,\text{A}, angle with field 90∘90^{\circ} Q: 6.0 A6.0\,\text{A}, angle with field 60∘60^{\circ} R: 10.0 A10.0\,\text{A}, angle with field 30∘30^{\circ} (a) Calculate the magnitude of the magnetic force on each conductor. (b) Arrange the three forces in descending order and comment briefly on the result.
