In a circle with centre OO, let ABAB and CDCD be two chords such that the perpendicular distances from OO to the chords are equal. (i) From OO drop perpendiculars OMOM and ONON to ABAB and CDCD respectively. Show that △OMA≅△ONC\triangle OMA \cong \triangle ONC. (ii) Using the result of part (i) or otherwise, prove that AB=CDAB = CD. (iii) State the converse of the statement proved in part (ii).
