Problem

A glass bulb of volume 400 cm3400\,\text{cm}^3 is connected to another of volume 20 cm320\,\text{cm}^3 by a tube of negligible volume. The bulbs contain dry air at a common temperature and pressure of 20∘C20^{\circ}\text{C} and 1.00 atm1.00\,\text{atm}. The larger bulb is immersed in steam at 100∘C100^{\circ}\text{C} and the smaller bulb in melting ice at 0∘C0^{\circ}\text{C}. Find the final common pressure.
