Problem

A quadratic polynomial q(x)q(x) has leading coefficient 33. The sum of its zeros is 44 and the product of its zeros is −5-5. (i) Construct q(x)q(x) in the standard form ax2+bx+cax^{2}+bx+c. (ii) Verify directly that the zeros of the polynomial obtained in part (i) satisfy the given conditions. (iii) Using your polynomial, evaluate q(1)q(1) and interpret the result with respect to the graph of y=q(x)y=q(x).
