Problem

A gardener pushes a lawn roller along level ground and then up a gentle slope. (i) While on level ground he delivers power at a constant rate of 220 W220\,\text{W} for 2 min2\,\text{min}. Calculate the work done in this stage. (ii) On the slope he continues for another 3 min3\,\text{min} but now delivers only 180 W180\,\text{W} of power. Calculate the work done on the slope. (iii) Find the total work done by the gardener on the roller for the entire 5 min5\,\text{min} trip. (iv) Determine the average power over the whole journey.
