Problem

A straight line has slope −32-\dfrac{3}{2} and cuts the yy-axis at the point (0,4)(0,4). (i) Write the equation of the line in slope–intercept form. (ii) Find the coordinates of the point where the line meets the horizontal line y=7y=7. (iii) Determine the area of the triangle enclosed by the given line and the coordinate axes.
