Problem

Two point charges of +10 μC+10\,\mu\text{C} and +40 μC+40\,\mu\text{C} are placed 0.20 m0.20\,\text{m} apart in air along a straight line. Calculate the position(s) along the line (measured from the +10 μC+10\,\mu\text{C} charge) where an electron would experience zero net electrostatic force. State clearly whether each position lies between the charges or outside the segment joining them.
