Problem

Draw a circle with centre OO. Three points A,BA, B and CC lie in that order on the circumference. The measures of the central angles are: ∠AOB=2x∘\angle AOB = 2x^{\circ}, ∠BOC=(x+20)∘\angle BOC = (x + 20)^{\circ}, ∠COA=(3x−10)∘\angle COA = (3x - 10)^{\circ}. (i) Write an equation in xx using the fact that the sum of the three central angles is 360∘360^{\circ}. (ii) Solve the equation to find the value of xx. (iii) Hence determine the measures of arcs ABAB, BCBC and CACA.
