A cart of mass 2kg is moving at 5m/s. Its mass is suddenly doubled and its speed is reduced to half of the original value.
(i) Calculate its kinetic energy before the change.
(ii) Calculate its kinetic energy after the change and state whether the kinetic energy increases, decreases or remains the same.
