Problem

Two voltmeters are used, one at a time, to measure the potential difference across a 100 Ω load that is drawing current from a battery whose internal resistance is 5 Ω. Voltmeter A has an internal resistance of 1.0 MΩ; Voltmeter B has an internal resistance of 10 kΩ. Which meter will give a reading closer to the actual load voltage? Briefly justify your choice.
