Problem

Consider the expression E1=(x−3 ⋅ x4x−2)3 ÷ x−5,x≠0.E_1 = \left(\dfrac{x^{-3}\,\cdot\,x^{4}}{x^{-2}}\right)^{3}\,\div\,x^{-5},\qquad x\neq0.Answer the following questions. (i) Simplify E1E_1 and write it in the form xkx^{k}. (ii) State the value of the exponent kk obtained in part (i). (iii) Using the result of part (i), find the numerical value of E1E_1 when x=2x = 2.
