Problem

A rectangular coil rotates with uniform angular speed about an axis perpendicular to a uniform magnetic field. Why is the induced emf in the coil (a) zero when the plane of the coil is perpendicular to the magnetic field, but (b) maximum when the plane of the coil is parallel to the magnetic field? Give a brief reason for each case.
