Problem

Factorise completely the quartic polynomial Q(x)=x4−5x2+4Q(x)=x^{4}-5x^{2}+4. (i) First express Q(x)Q(x) as a product of two quadratic factors. (ii) Further resolve each quadratic factor obtained in part (i), wherever possible, to write Q(x)Q(x) as a product of linear factors.
