Problem

Three identical straight conductors P, Q and R, each of length 0.20 m0.20\,\text{m}, are placed separately in the same uniform magnetic field of 0.60 T0.60\,\text{T}. The current in each conductor and its angle with the magnetic field are: • P: 5 A5\,\text{A}, 90∘90^{\circ} • Q: 7 A7\,\text{A}, 45∘45^{\circ} • R: 6 A6\,\text{A}, 30∘30^{\circ} (i) Arrange the conductors in descending order of the magnitude of force experienced. (ii) Support your ordering with a brief calculation for each conductor.
