Problem

Three small point charges have magnitudes q1=6.432×10−6 Cq_1 = 6.432\times10^{-6}\,\text{C}, q2=1.8×10−5 Cq_2 = 1.8\times10^{-5}\,\text{C} and q3=0.723×10−5 Cq_3 = 0.723\times10^{-5}\,\text{C}. (a) Find the algebraic sum Q=q1+q2−q3Q = q_1 + q_2 - q_3 in coulomb without any rounding. (b) Rewrite the result of part (a) in scientific notation and round it to the proper number of significant figures. (c) Express the rounded value of QQ using an appropriate SI prefix instead of the power of ten.
