Problem

A straight wire carrying current is initially parallel to a uniform magnetic field. (a) Through what smallest angle must the wire be rotated so that the magnetic force on it becomes half of the maximum possible value? (b) Through how much further should the wire be rotated from the position in part (a) so that the force reaches its maximum for the first time? (c) Continuing the rotation in the same sense, after what total angle from the initial position will the force again become zero?
