Problem

Two events EE and FF belong to the same random experiment. Their probabilities are given as P(E)=1845P(E)=\dfrac{18}{45} and P(F)=715P(F)=\dfrac{7}{15}. (i) Reduce each probability to its simplest fractional form. (ii) Verify that the simplified values satisfy the fundamental range 0≤P≤10\le P \le 1 for any probability. (iii) Without converting the fractions to decimals, decide which of the two events is more likely to occur. Give a brief reason for your choice.
