Problem

Two rigid containers are connected by a valve. Container A has a volume of 2.0 L2.0\,\text{L} and a pressure of 300 kPa300\,\text{kPa}. Container B has a volume of 3.0 L3.0\,\text{L} and a pressure of 100 kPa100\,\text{kPa}. Both containers hold the same ideal gas at 25∘C25^{\circ}\text{C}. The valve is opened and the partition between them is removed while the temperature remains constant. Determine the final uniform pressure of the gas.
