Problem

A 20 μF20\,\mu\text{F} capacitor is initially charged to 8 V8\,\text{V} with its left plate positive and right plate negative. At t=0t=0 the capacitor is connected across a 4 Ω4\,\Omega resistor by closing a switch. Indicate the direction of conventional current through the resistor: (a) just after the switch is closed (b) after a very long time
