Problem

A stationary meteorite of mass 10 kg explodes into three fragments. Two fragments, each of mass 3 kg, fly off at right angles: one travels east with a speed of 40 m/s and the other travels north with a speed of 50 m/s. The third fragment has a mass of 4 kg. Calculate the magnitude and direction (measured counter-clockwise from the east) of the velocity of the third fragment immediately after the explosion.
