Problem

Consider the quadratic polynomial p(x)=2x2+kx−10p(x)=2x^{2}+kx-10. (i) If x=2x=2 is a zero of p(x)p(x), write the resulting equation in kk. (ii) Solve the equation obtained in part (i) to find the value of kk. (iii) Using this value of kk, factorise p(x)p(x) completely.
