Problem

Let points P1,P2,P3,…,Pn−1P_1,P_2,P_3,\dots,P_{n-1} divide the side BCBC of △ABC\triangle ABC into nn parts. Let r1,r2,r3,…,rnr_1,r_2,r_3,\dots,r_n be the radii of the incircles and let p1,p2,…,pnp_1,p_2,\dots,p_n be the radii of the excircles corresponding to vertex AA for triangles ABP1ABP_1, AP1P2AP_1P_2, …\dots, APn−1CAP_{n-1}C. Let rr and pp be the corresponding radii for triangle ABCABC. Show that r1p1⋅r2p2⋯rnpn=rp\frac{r_1}{p_1}\cdot\frac{r_2}{p_2}\cdots\frac{r_n}{p_n}=\frac{r}{p}.
