Problem

For the circle whose centre is (32, −43)\left(\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2},\,-\dfrac{4}{3}\right) and which passes through the point (3,1)(3,1): (i) Calculate the radius. (ii) Write the equation of the circle in standard (centre–radius) form. (iii) Expand your answer to part (ii) to obtain the general form x2+y2+2gx+2fy+c=0x^{2}+y^{2}+2gx+2fy+c=0, and hence state the values of g, fg,\,f and cc.
