Problem

Resistors of 2 Ω2\,\Omega and 3 Ω3\,\Omega are connected in parallel. This parallel combination is connected in series with a 4 Ω4\,\Omega resistor. The entire arrangement is then connected in parallel with a 12 Ω12\,\Omega resistor across a 24 V24\,\text{V} supply. (a) Determine the equivalent resistance of the complete circuit. (b) Calculate the current drawn from the supply.
