Problem

Consider the gas-phase equilibrium 2SO2(g)+O2(g)  ⇌  2SO3(g)(ΔH<0)\mathrm{2SO_2(g)+O_2(g)\;\rightleftharpoons\;2SO_3(g)}\qquad (\Delta H<0) initially at equilibrium at 700 K700\,\mathrm{K} and 1.0 atm1.0\,\mathrm{atm} in a rigid container. Predict the ranking, from greatest to least, of the following independent actions in terms of the amount of SO3(g)\mathrm{SO_3(g)} present at the new equilibrium. A. Lower the temperature to 650 K650\,\mathrm{K}. B. Double the total pressure by halving the volume. C. Add 0.10 atm\mathrm{0.10\,atm} of SO2(g)\mathrm{SO_2(g)}. D. Inject a catalyst. Provide your ranking; list equal effects together if appropriate.
