Problem

Two step-down transformers supply sinusoidal voltages to identical loads. Their secondary voltages are v1=2202 sin⁡(314t)v_1=220\sqrt{2}\,\sin(314t) volts and v2=2202 sin⁡ ⁣(314t+π3)v_2=220\sqrt{2}\,\sin\!(314t+\tfrac{\pi}{3}) volts, with tt in seconds. (i) Calculate the phase difference between v1v_1 and v2v_2 in (a) radians and (b) degrees. (ii) Determine the corresponding time lag between the two voltages. (iii) Find the earliest positive time (other than t=0t=0) at which the two voltages become equal again.
