Problem

The equivalent conductivity of 0.05 *N* solution of a monobasic acid is 15.8 S cm2 eq−115.8 \text{ S cm}^2 \text{ eq}^{-1} . If equivalent conductivity of the acid at infinite dilution is 350 S cm2 eq−1350 \text{ S cm}^2 \text{ eq}^{-1} , calculate the (1) degree of dissociation of acid. (2) dissociation constant of acid.
