Problem

Two elements A and B form compounds having molecular formula AB2\text{AB}_2 and AB4\text{AB}_4. When dissolved in 20 g C6H6\text{C}_6\text{H}_6, 1 g of AB2\text{AB}_2 lowers the f. pt. by 2.3∘C2.3^\circ\text{C} whereas 1.0 g of AB4\text{AB}_4 lowers it by 1.3∘C1.3^\circ\text{C}. The KfK_f for C6H6\text{C}_6\text{H}_6 is 5.1 K mol−1 kg5.1 \text{ K mol}^{-1} \text{ kg}. Calculate atomic mass of A and B.
