A 1000 kg1000\,\text{kg} cannon rests on a smooth horizontal track. It fires a 20 kg20\,\text{kg} cannon-ball with a speed of 200 m s−1200\,\text{m\,s}^{-1} relative to the ground. (i) Find the recoil velocity of the cannon. (ii) Determine the ratio of the kinetic energy of the cannon to that of the cannon-ball just after firing.
