Problem

The saturated vapour pressure of water is tabulated as 2.339 kPa2.339\,\mathrm{kPa} at 20∘C20^\circ\mathrm{C} and 4.246 kPa4.246\,\mathrm{kPa} at 30∘C30^\circ\mathrm{C}. Using the degree-one Lagrange (linear) interpolating polynomial through these two points, estimate the vapour pressure at 25∘C25^\circ\mathrm{C}.
