Condensed Matter Physics, Ch The free-electron gas: what Drude gets right and what only Fermi fixes

Problem

Platinum has resistivity ρe=1.06×10−7 Ω m\rho_e=1.06\times10^{-7}\,\Omega\,\mathrm{m} at 295 K295\,\mathrm{K}, and a measured total thermal conductivity of 71.6 W m−1K−171.6\,\mathrm{W\,m^{-1}K^{-1}} at that temperature. Using the free-electron Lorenz number, predict platinum's electronic thermal conductivity, and compare it with the measured total.
