Condensed Matter Physics, Ch The free-electron gas: what Drude gets right and what only Fermi fixes

Problem

Silver is face-centred cubic with a=4.085 A˚a=4.085\,\mathrm{\mathring{A}} (Chapter 1) and, like copper, gives up one conduction electron per atom. ((a)) Find silver's conduction electron density nn. ((b)) Without any further arithmetic, state what the classical Drude model predicts for silver's classical electronic heat capacity 32R\tfrac32R and for its classical Lorenz ratio 32(kB/e)2\tfrac32(k_B/e)^2, and say whether these two numbers are the same as copper's or different, and why. ((c)) Is the classical mean-free-path estimate, ℓ=vthτ\ell=v_{\rm th}\tau, the same for silver as for copper? Give the reason in one sentence.
