Problem

A single circular loop of copper wire of radius 4.0 cm4.0\ \mathrm{cm} lies flat on a horizontal bench in the gap of an electromagnet. The field at the loop is uniform, vertical and directed upwards, and its magnitude is being increased steadily from 0.10 T0.10\ \mathrm{T} to 0.50 T0.50\ \mathrm{T}. Looking down on the bench from above, is the induced current in the loop clockwise or anticlockwise? Give the reasoning.
