Problem

A 2200 μF2200\,\mu\mathrm{F} capacitor charged to 12 V12\,\mathrm{V} is disconnected from its supply and discharged through a 1.5 kΩ1.5\,\mathrm{k}\Omega bleed resistor. The wires have no resistance. ((a)) How long does it take for the charge on the capacitor to fall to 10%10\% of its starting value? ((b)) Instead of the resistor, the charged capacitor is connected across a coil of self-inductance 0.50 H0.50\,\mathrm{H} whose resistance is negligible. Find the natural angular frequency ω0\omega_0 and the frequency ff of the oscillation that follows.
