Problem
A transformer winding delivering 24V rms at 50Hz feeds a bridge of four ideal diodes (no voltage across a conducting diode, no current through a blocking one), whose output goes straight to a resistive load of 100Ω. There is no smoothing capacitor and the winding's resistance is neglected. Sketch the load voltage against time for two cycles of the supply, marking the zero line and the mean level, and from your sketch state:
((a)) the peak load voltage;
((b)) the number of output humps per second;
((c)) the mean load voltage.
