Problem

An RC high-pass network has corner frequency fc=200 Hzf_c = 200\,\mathrm{Hz}, with frequency response H(jf)=jf/fc1+jf/fcH(jf) = \dfrac{jf/f_c}{1+jf/f_c}. It is driven by an ideal sinusoidal source giving the input phasor V‾in=5.0∠0∘ V\underline V_{\rm in} = 5.0\angle0^\circ\,\mathrm V (peak) at f=50 Hzf=50\,\mathrm{Hz}. ((a)) State the gain in decibels and the phase of H(jf)H(jf) at f=50 Hzf=50\,\mathrm{Hz}. ((b)) Find the output phasor V‾out\underline V_{\rm out} and write vout(t)v_{\rm out}(t) as an explicit time-domain sinusoid.
