Problem

An electric guitar's passive tone control is a simple RC low-pass built from R=4.7 kΩR = 4.7\,\mathrm{k}\Omega and C=22 nFC = 22\,\mathrm{nF}, with the pickup treated as an ideal voltage source and the output taken across CC with respect to the instrument's ground. The same guitar's pedal holds a separate resonant "wah" filter, analysed here on its own and modelled as a series branch: an inductor L=100 mHL = 100\,\mathrm{mH}, a capacitor C2=100 nFC_2 = 100\,\mathrm{nF}, and the coil's own winding resistance R2=100 ΩR_2 = 100\,\Omega, all in series. ((a)) Find the corner frequency of the tone-control stage and the magnitude and phase of its frequency response for a played note at 440 Hz440\,\mathrm{Hz} (concert A). ((b)) Find the resonant frequency f0f_0, the quality factor QQ, and the half-power bandwidth of the wah branch.
