Energy from Physics, Ch The critical reactor: neutron diffusion, buckling and the size of a core

Problem

A bare cylindrical core has height H=3.00 mH = 3.00\,\mathrm{m} and radius R=1.50 mR = 1.50\,\mathrm{m}, and its migration area is M2=65 cm2M^2 = 65\,\mathrm{cm^2}. The fundamental-mode geometric buckling of a bare cylinder is Bg2=(πH)2+(2.405R)2B_g^2 = \left(\dfrac{\pi}{H}\right)^2 + \left(\dfrac{2.405}{R}\right)^2. Compute the fraction of neutrons that leak from the core.
